Falling For You Release Date!

I’m excited to announce that Falling For You finally has a release date of October 24, 2017 and will be available for pre-order later this week!! I’ve been working really hard over the past two weeks to get this story just right, and I’m finally happy with how it turned out. With any book, you can rewrite it over and over, but eventually, you have to finally know that it is finished. I’m so excited about this one and I cannot wait for you all to read it.

Falling For You is a novella ebook (for kindle) and is book 2 in the Maple Falls series. (Other ebook platforms coming soon.) This story will follow Ali Bradford, who you were briefly introduced to in Bake My Day. It’s a fun adventure and I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it!!

Release Date

I am already well into working on book 3, so now that this one is finished, I can put all of my focus into it. My plan is to release the next book in the series later this winter. I cannot reveal much about it just yet, but it will be set in Maple Falls at Christmas time. More to come on that in the following weeks.

I will leave you with the blurb:

Ali Bradford has waited her entire life to turn thirty to see what all the hype was about. Waking up the morning of her thirtieth birthday to a note on her boyfriend’s pillow and him nowhere to be found, it wasn’t exactly what she was expecting.

After a few twists and turns that lead her around Maple Falls, she follows a series of clues in hopes of finding Zach. Will she finally get the ending she had hoped for, or will it be more?

I will post again once the pre-order link is live! Have a great week!

COVER REVEAL and Book News!

Today is the big COVER REVEAL day for my new novella coming this fall!! I started writing Falling For You after Bake My Day was published, but then decided to put it aside to work on the next novel instead. Book 3, which I’m hoping to release this winter, I wrote during NaNoWriMo last November, pushing Falling For You to the side. Fast forward to this summer…I decided to dust it off and finish it! It’s set in the same town of Maple Falls and will follow Ali’s story which will continue into book 3 as a secondary story. It’s fun and a little adventure along the way, finding out who really loves her and how lucky she is to have those special people in her life.

I’m planning on an early to mid October release, depending on the timeline of a few more steps I have to take to get it finished. Once the kids are back in school, I can devote a little more time to it. For the next two weeks while they are still home for the summer, they will take priority 🙂

And now….the cover!!! I hope you love it as much as I do!

It matches perfect with the theme of Bake My Day to continue on with the series!! I love the work Christa does at Paper and Sage! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a custom book cover.

Once I have a better idea of a release date, I’ll let you all know and I’ll have it available for preorder soon!! To keep up on my current book info, you can sign up for my NEWSLETTER HERE.

Have a great day!

Falling For You Guess

I’m very excited because today I get my first proof of my new cover!! I should have the final proof by Wednesday this week and cannot wait to share it with you all. Paper and Sage designed my cover for Bake My Day and I loved it so much, that she is designing my cover for Falling For You also! If you are looking for an amazing cover designer, check out Christa’s work!

I’m hoping to release Falling For You in late September, early October. I’ll announce a release date once I get a little further in the process. I am working with some wonderful people again this round, but I’m changing up a few parts. I learned a lot with the last book, made some mistakes, and learned from them. With all things new, there are things to be learned.

I am also working on book 3, another full length novel. More about that soon!!

Have a wonderful week and Congrats again to Laura!

In other exciting news, the kindle version of Bake My Day is now available for pre-order!! You can find it HERE.

I am getting my print preview on Tuesday so the print version should be available for pre-order hopefully by the end of next week. I will definitely let you all know when it is.

My official release date is November 10th. I knew that it would be released in early to mid November, and after looking at the calendar, I knew that would be the day. That date has very special meaning to me so it made sense to choose it.

November 10th is going to be 14 years since my husband and I went out on our first date when I was just 19 years old. That day will now be even more of a special celebration for us.

I hope you love the cover!!! Stay tuned for more information on the print version coming soon!!

I hope you all have a great week!

Bake My Day!

I am so excited to share some information about my book with all of you! The title of my first book is Bake My Day, set in the small town of Maple Falls.

See below for the back cover blurb!

Yesterday, I finished going through my edits and officially have a final draft! Something I have never had before after writing so many stories over the past few years so the word exciting doesn’t quite cut it.

This week I am working on finding a person to format my book in a print form and also for an e-book. I think I have found a great candidate to do it for me, I am just waiting for the quote to come in.

Next week, I will be getting my first proof of my cover. On Monday, she will be emailing me the first proof she has already been working on. After that, we will tweak a few things if needed and go from there. By Friday of next week, I should have a complete cover design ready to go!! I cannot wait to share it all with you next week.

Everything is starting to come together and I am getting close to the home stretch. These last steps I need to take are a little stressful but I know will be worth it in the end to see a finished product and be able to hold a physical book that I actually wrote in my hands!! Thanks to a very sweet author friend, I feel like I will be able to do this…with a little help from her 🙂  Thanks Harley!

And now…I leave you with my back cover blurb! I would love to know what you think!

Cora Westerling thought she finally found the one. But as her relationship slowly starts to change, she is forced to make a tough decision. Giving her two week notice at her job, she packs up her life into her tiny car and decides it is finally time to live the life she has always dreamed of living. As a true believer of signs, she follows them along the way until she stumbles upon the small town of Maple Falls. Could this town hold everything she has been longing for?

Bradley Harper is a local police officer in the town of Maple Falls. After losing his wife, he was forced to raise their young daughter Lily all on his own. Working long hours and relying on his parents help, the last thing he has time for is a relationship. Could a new girl in town change all of that?

When the two of them meet on her first night in town, there is something about him she cannot stop thinking about. As their paths continue to cross and the love for his daughter grows in her heart, it seems like fate may have more in store for them than they both realize.

Comment below and let me know what you think 🙂
